The Security Service provider may be instructed by CBRE to carry out searches and other checks to prevent or detect crime, where this is legally and contractually permissible. Where resources are not present on-site, this may be provided by extra cover and ad hoc resources.

Any checks or searches mush be legally permissible
Searches and checks must have the express permission from the Client
Those conducting checks must consider ethnic and racial differences
The Security providers must have a documented search and inspect procedure

Key Points
- Ensure all ad-hoc Security services are noted within the SOW
- If it is not clear or not properly documented - Do NOT Perform the task, seek approval and clarification
- If the services can be charged back to the Client, ensure they are documented with the accompanying details and costs in the MSA / SOW and SLA
- Plan and agree on additional activities ensuring they do not impact normal guarding performance measures
