For MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operating Supplies) we are developing global and regional ‘best in class processes and templates’ within the Excellence Program and are focusing on 6 key sub-category elements: Industrial/Safety Supplies; HVAC/Filters Supplies; Plumbing Supplies; Electrical/Lighting Supplies; Hand/Power Tools and Janitorial Consumables. Key initiatives include:

• Unbundling of janitorial consumables from BSC’s (with potential savings of ~30%);
• Introduction of ‘smart technology’ where appropriate to drive operational efficiencies (Onvation, Tork solution, etc.)
• Leveraging of spend in EMEA to drive “best-in-class” MRO relationships and supplier consolidation
