  5. Are all the changes to the cost identified and their impact documented?
  6. Have all the project scope changes been identified and their impact on the performance, cost, and schedule baselines documented?
  7. Has training and knowledge transfer been completed?
  8. Has the date for the post-implementation review been established?

The transition process in alignment with stakeholders and supplier partners is as vital as the RFP and contracting elements.  Without effective planning, communication, and alignment among stakeholders, the risk of an incomplete or failed transition increases.

To properly transition any supplier or service requires;

  1. Clear communication
  2. Clear goals and objectives
  3. An understanding of the responsibilities of all parties
  4. Timelines being strictly adhered to
  5. Understanding everyone’s expectations with a win / win mindset
